i don't need an answer on this now but...
i spent some time on the python code i am showing you for cs472. so
i'd like your feedback on my code. what i'm after is
-- what to use again for next year
-- what *never* to use again (ever)
-- what to change
not useful: comments like "it is all right"
more useful: comments like "XYZ is too complex, here is a simpler way"
also useful are comments like:
-- "you should use another language, like XYZ"
-- "i never look at it"
-- "too hard to understand"
-- "i only find it useful... for 2 line python tricks"
-- "it helped me to see how to do XYZ"
-- "i don't understand it at all but i just called your XYZ function
and use it as a black box and that was good for doing ABC"
-- "XYZ needs more explanation"
-- "a decent unit test suite would be useful"
-- "easy to understand and adapt"
-- "easy to use, impossible to adapt"
-- "too hard to use"
-- etc
over to you
