A quick update this evening. Last week I had the opportunity to speak on the proposed project before ANC6B, a short summary can be read here. Councilman Catania was at the meeting and I have followed up with him regarding the situation. We are still working with Councilman Wells' and hope to meet with him soon.

 

DC Visioning will be holding meetings Tuesday at the People's church at 535 8th Street SE, 8:30am and 7pm. (The minutes in the link do not show the level of opposition to the CSX project. Capitol Riverfront BID claims to be neutral on the project, but the Lower 8th Street Visioning will not publish my comment pointing this out).

 

Please continue to contact Rep. Norton and your DC Council Members about your opposition to the project. We are making progress but time is growing short!
