The Institute of Marine Affairs (IMA) is seeking qualified consultants to develop a regulatory and certification framework for coastal and marine ecosystem services in Trinidad and Tobago.

The National Legal Consultant will lead the design of legislative amendments and national regulatory architecture to enable biodiversity finance mechanisms, initially focusing on sandy beach and dune ecosystems, with scalability to reefs and mangroves.

The role includes serving as Lead Drafter and producing an integrated Governance Manual to establish a predictable, investment-ready framework that supports sustainable, self-financing models.
