Hi members,
I am sending you the general outlines from last meeting. We are having a low turnout of members so I wanted to ask you to email your availability for the quarter in order to schedule a more optimal time for us to get together. We have some plans in recruiting young new members as well by showing the c++ , LabVIEW, circuits, and digital logic classes some of our demos with the arduinos and NXT bots. We want to encourage freshmen and sophmores and let them know IEEE exist. We have come up with a couple projects that they can built which we haven't done yet, like a catapult. Juniors and seniors can mentor these students which will in turn help gain social skills which is extremely valuable. We also have plans to finish the micromouse for the competition during the Spring; our Vice President, Alex Krause, has given the club alot of his time and has lots of resources to complete the project. I will also like you guys to start thinking and preparing a resume which I will have professors and the resources center check. This is a great opportunity we can take to build ourselves professionally.
