Culture of Peace with Dr. Chowdhury

Ambassador Anwarul Chowdhury, former Under Secretary General of the
United Nations, will be giving a talk at the Culture of Peace Resource
Center this Saturday, March 1st from 2:30PM.

Ambassador Chowdhury has conducted dialogues with President Ikeda on
various occasions and has been noted for his work on the progress of
development throughout the least develop countries while fighting for
peace and human rights for women and children. He received an Honorary
Doctorate from Soka University of Japan in 2003 and has continued to
support the SGI's Culture of Peace initiative.

This is a rare opportunity to hear from Ambassador Chowdhury, who has
held prominent positions, including President of the Security Council,
President of the UNICEF Executive Board, and Vice President of the
