It is interesting to hear guest speakers talk about their jobs and
their companies; however, I would also like to know how IEEE plans to
help EEs develop their skills. Something along the line of brief
lectures on important topics, or tips from the upper divison EE
students would be nice. A bit of math review or basic physics concepts
that have proven useful to the senior EE students could help. Maybe
some exercises in communications (since that seems to be everyone's
focus nowadays) or examples of technical writing?
Just something that will help put EEs that attend IEEE meetings ahead
of the average EE student academically.
More of a suggestion than an activity :)
