cstore_fdw replication

Long ago in 2017 it was told that cstore_fdw already has replication, but it seems it's still only in develop branch and never made it's way to the master or 2.0 release

Does any one have any suggestions how to overcome replication issue?

Hello,

Unfortunately situation has not changed since that time. streaming replication support implemented but left at develop branch due to few missing things to complement.

- better transaction support (there is already some transaction support available)

- upgrade from earlier release. (storage mechanism completely changed, it is not backward compatible)

If you are okay without those, you could use it from develop branch. I can't really say/promise anything on 2.0 version at this time since nobody is currently working on it.
