We are happy to announce that priority registration for Empower {MN:CS} is now open! This computer science (CS) educator conference is a fantastic opportunity to connect and learn with other Minnesota educators who are interested in expanding computer science opportunities in their schools and districts. This year, there are various professional development workshop options for K12 educators. Check them out below:
  • K8 Integrated Computer Science: for any K8 educator who is new or newer to teaching computer science. 
  • Scratch Encore: for 4th-8th grade educators who have experience programming in Scratch. 
  • Project Guts: for middle and high school science teachers
  • Big Book of Computing Pedagogy: for K8 educators looking to deepen their knowledge of CS content and pedagogy.
  • NCWIT Counselors for Computing: for K12 school counselors looking to expand computer science offerings in their school and districts
