CS100 Awards from CS is Elementary

CS is Elementary has extended the Deadline for the 23-24 school year award so there’s still time. More info is below, and the application form is here.


The CS100 Awards provide a new form of national recognition for top computer science elementary schools in the United States: those that commit to teaching 100% of their K-5 students computer science in the 2023-2024 school year. Each CS100 School will:

  • Be awarded a CS100 Certificate & Badge for the school website, with an official PDF Award suitable for framing;
  • Be announced on the CS100 webpage with other schools; and

All CS100 Schools will be invited to submit a 90-second video, describing and celebrating their CS Program, for the CS100 webpage.

CS100 Awards will be granted to schools that submit the CS100 Application below, subject to approval by the CSforALL and CS is Elementary, partners in the CS100 program.  Your School may apply for one of two levels of CS100 Recognition:

  • The CS100 Award, or the
  • The CS100 All In Award, recognizing those schools who not only reach 100% of students with some CS, but go the extra step to cover the grade level standards in CS appropriate for the district, state, or CSTA (if there are no local standards).
