Hi all,

The Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board (PELSB) has released language for a new license in computer science. Feedback on the proposed language is due by April 21, 2025. To facilitate providing comments, the CSforAll-MN Steering Committee will be hosting a feedback session on Thursday, April 17 at 4:30 pm. Anyone who is interested in CS licensure is welcome to join. During the session we will provide an overview of the language, the recommendations in the state plan for computer science education, and share some policy resources. Participants will share and record their feedback in breakout rooms and then CSforAll-MN will compile that feedback and share it with PELSB.

Register for the April 17th feedback session: https://umn.zoom.us/meeting/register/_Jni71RjS_aS7-VFSgV0yg

Learn more about the license and how to provide feedback: https://mn.gov/pelsb/board/rulemaking/rd4863/rd4863.jsp

Thanks,
Jen (on behalf of the CSforAll-MN steering committee)
