Lead Conference: Leading in Equity, Action, and Diversity for PreK-12 System Improvement - A conference for Education Leaders

Hello, 

This summer, we are offering a variety of virtual workshops for Mobile CSP and CSAwesome, both College Board endorsed curriculums in Computer Science Principles and Computer Science A. These workshops provide hands-on experience with the curriculum and ongoing support from an experienced facilitator throughout the school year. Learn more below! 

CSAwesome (Immersion)
Dates: July 22nd - 26th and July 29th - August 2nd (Mon, Wed, Thursday 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM CDT)

This 2-week virtual course is designed for experienced CS teachers preparing to teach CSAwesome for the first time. Throughout the workshop you will explore inclusive teaching practices, Java, and the Runestone Instructor Dashboard.

CSAwesome Short PD
Date: 
July 30th (11:00 AM to 5:30 PM CDT)

This 6-hour professional development course is recommended for teachers who are experienced in Java and AP CS A. This PD will introduce participants to using the CSAwesome ebook, accessing lesson plans and materials, and training on inclusive teaching practices.

Mobile CSP (Immersion)
Date: July 22nd - 26th and July 29th - August 2nd (Mon, Wed, Thursday 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM CDT)

This 2-week virtual professional development course is recommended to teachers who have significant experience in computer science (CS) and are preparing to teach the Mobile CSP curriculum for the first time. Throughout the workshop you will explore inclusive teaching practices, an introduction to Computer Science Principles, best practices and course logistics.
