Hello wonderful teachers!

The Minnesota Computer Club is a discord-based group of students and teachers who chat about all things computer-related. You and your students can join here: https://discord.gg/npuWmAu7t7 . This year we are having a winter coding competition! Yes, there are prizes for the top individuals, but more importantly, there is a giant trophy for the school with the highest PARTICIPATION!!!!!

Right now, Mayo High School in Rochester has the highest number of students, followed closely by Prior Lake (shout out to Mr. Yost!).  You can still catch up!  All puzzles solved before midnight on December 31st will be counted for your school.

The first couple of days are solvable using nothing more than Excel or Google Sheets, so please recruit your business and math teachers for a day of fun as well!!

Here is last year's day 1 solution: https://youtu.be/iKDiDZ-e3rE
And this year's if you want to cheat a little 😁 : https://youtu.be/9C1_yOqbBC4

More information is available at https://mncomputerclub.com or just email me!

Thanks,
John
