Code Savvy launched our 2025–2026 Virtual Professional Development Series earlier this fall. Missed our first session? No problem! Our second session is about to launch. Join Code Savvy for a free, virtual PD on text-based coding with Python!

This session is perfect for any adult supporting youth learning. You’ll:
 

• Compare the syntax and structure of block-based programming languages with text-based languages. 

• Develop a chatbot in Python infused with key CS concepts of variables, conditionals, and loops. 

• Build pedagogical skills and mindsets for incorporating computer science into the classroom.

• Preview several Python lessons that incorporate CS instructional strategies and opportunities for creative coding, equity and engagement.
