Hello Educators,

Just a quick reminder that two exciting Code Savvy opportunities are closing soon — both applications are due May 29th.

1. Paid Facilitator Opportunity — Innovate for Good: AI Builders Day

We’re looking for educators to help lead students ages 8–18 through hands-on coding, AI, and micro:bit activities during our summer hackathon event.

Facilitators receive:

  • $500 stipend
  • Training, materials, and support
  • Opportunity to work alongside educators and tech professionals

Event Details:

  • Saturday, June 27th, 2026
  • 9:00 AM – 3:30 PM
  • The Wood, Brooklyn Park, MN

We’d also love for you to encourage students to attend! Students receive:

  • Free micro:bit and Code Savvy swag
  • Hands-on coding and AI experience
  • Mentorship and project showcase opportunities
  • Travel stipends available as needed

Apply as a facilitator by May 29th or register as a student by June 5th.


2. Summer Byte-Sized Challenge

Looking for engaging STEM or coding programming for summer school, camps, or clubs? Our free Byte-Sized Challenge provides educators with:

  • Flexible 16-lesson curriculum
  • Curriculum available in English, Spanish, Hmong, Somali, and dual-language versions
  • Virtual onboarding and summer support
  • Chance to receive classroom sets of micro:bits

The curriculum can be adapted to fit your schedule and program needs throughout the summer. Fill out the interest form by May 29th to participate in this free program this summer.
