CS A Professional Development Options

There are two options for free CSAwesome professional development this summer:

1) CSAwesome is one of 14 providers that will provide free PD for U.S. public high school teachers as part of the Pathfinders Summer Institute 2022. Plenty of PD opportunities listed in the link.

 

2) If you are considering teaching AP CSA for the first time in 2022-23 and are new to Java (i.e. less than 3 years of industry and AP CSA/Java teaching experience), please consider joining the CSAwesome community. CSAwesome is a free endorsed curriculum for AP CSA and is designed to help students and teachers transition from AP CSP to AP CSA. Accepted new-to-CSA teachers will receive FREE PD in summer 2022, year-round support as you teach the course, and have the opportunity to earn up $1,500 in stipends!
