Dear Faculty, Staff, College Students, and K-12 educators,

We are excited to announce the 2025-2026 STARS AI Scholars program for college and university students in computing, AI, and data science and for K-12 educators! This program provides opportunities to learn about AI and how to effectively engage K-12 students in AI education, all while developing leadership skills and connecting with a national network (learn more at www.starscomputingcore.org ).


Two ways to participate:

K-12 Teachers: Gain cutting-edge AI teaching skills while partnering with fellow teachers and motivated college students who bring fresh technical knowledge to your classroom.

Undergraduate/College Computing Students: Build your resume with meaningful outreach or curriculum-building experience while helping real teachers and students.


Program Highlights:

  • $1000 stipend for successful completion

  • 10 virtual meetings (first & third Tuesdays, 6:30-8:30 PM ET)

  • Learn about cutting edge technology and AI

  • Collaborative curriculum development

  • Real classroom implementation

  • Professional development certificates

  • Networking with AI education leaders

Program Duration: October 2025 - April 2026 Time Commitment: ~50 hours total


Whether you're a teacher curious about AI or a computing student passionate about education, this program offers professional growth, financial support, and the opportunity to shape the future of AI literacy in schools.
