Experience AI Educator Fellowship (USA) RPF Info Sheet:
A paid, 4-month fellowship for 25 middle school educators (Grades 6–8) to learn how to teach AI literacy using the free Experience AI curriculum. Fellows receive professional learning, coaching, a national educator network, and a $1,500 stipend. An in-person convening will take place Nov 5-7th (with travel also funded).
Who We're Looking For:
Current Grades 6–8 classroom teachers (non-CS teachers encouraged)
Curious about AI (no AI or CS experience required)
Open to trying new instructional practices
Teacher leaders with established professional networks (district, state, or national) and presenting, facilitating professional learning, mentoring colleagues, or leading educator communities
Excited to share what they learn and help other educators implement AI literacy
Available to participate in fellowship activities and teach the Experience AI curriculum this fall
Located in one of the eligible states: AL, AR, CT, DE, FL, GA, IL, IA, KS, LA, ME, MD, MA, MN, MS, MO, NH, NJ, NY, NC, OH, OK, PA, RI, SC, VT, VA, WV, or WI
Key Dates:
Now – Aug. 2: Applications open
Aug. 21: Virtual onboarding & Foundations Module 1 (4 hrs)
Sept. 19: Foundations Module 2 training (4 hrs)
Fall (Sept.–Oct.): Teach Experience AI in the classroom with monthly virtual check-ins
Nov. 5–7: In-person convening & leadership training
