The CS-ER team is very excited to share information with you about a new Google-sponsored scholarship. The new Women of Color in Tech scholarship is intended to help raise awareness about the gender gap in tech and the barriers women of color face in entering the industry.

The scholarship, administered by Scholly (a scholarship organization) will provide 20 scholarships for $10,000 each to Black, Latina, and/or Native senior high school or undergraduate women students who are currently pursuing a computing related degree and wish to use the funding to support a computer science higher education degree.

You can read more about the scholarship here.

Please help us spread the word about this initiative to any fellow faculty members or students who are eligible and might be interested.

For more information, please contact : https://myscholly.com/contact-us/

Best wishes,

Chris Stephenson
