Hi CSTA-MN Colleagues!

Less than a week left until the June 1st priority deadline for the 22-23 MNCodes Coding in the Classroom Leadership Cohort – we hope you’ll consider applying (or encourage a coworker who might be interested)!

Each school year, the MNCodes Cohort invites 30 Minnesota educators to come together once a month to explore various aspects of computer science education, including learning and sharing about different tools, expanding equitable and inclusive teaching practices, hearing from a variety of CS experts, and integrating CS with other contexts and content areas. The cohort focuses on research-based CS pedagogy as well as building a strong educator network to share ideas and questions. You don’t want to miss this great opportunity to dive deep into CS education! You can view more information on the MNCodes Cohort website.

Code Savvy is offering online computer science training this summer for educators - check out Scratch Camp for Educators (Beginner Level) and Intermediate / Advanced Scratch Camp, both happening online in both synchronous and asynchronous formats in August. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to Hope to see you at these great upcoming opportunities!

Have a wonderful weekend -
