Summer PD 2026 Registration Open for BJC Sparks and CS Principles

Hello!

We're excited to announce that registration for our Summer PD workshops is now open!

Join us for BJC Sparks (grades 6-10) or CS Principles (high school). Beginning in 2026, BJC Sparks will also feature a new AI unit, exploring supervised and reinforcement learning, generative AI, and the ethics of AI. True to the BJC philosophy, students don’t just use AI tools—they learn how AI works.

BJC Sparks

• July 27-31, 8am - 2pm PST daily, virtual on Zoom
• Free to register for public school teachers, administrators, or school staff and stipends available.
• Priority registration for stipend consideration due by May 31. 

BJC CS Principles

• July 27-31, 8am - 2pm PST daily, virtual on Zoom
• Free to register for public school teachers, administrators, or school staff and stipends available.
• Priority registration for stipend consideration due by May 31.

BJC CS Principles Self Paced

• Enroll anytime, this is free, virtual and self-paced.
• The course starts June 22 and will be available through August 31.
