Subject: Request Circulating AI for Collaboration Workshop

Hi Selim and Robert,

Hope you are doing well. I was hoping to request for your help advertising a workshop I would like to run this May at MIT with high school students. This is a one-time 2.5-hour workshop exploring how GenAI can support high school students in collaborative learning classrooms. The tool has already been vetted by teachers last year. This is the core idea of my PhD dissertation topic.

Through the workshop, students will learn how to use and critique AI use for group learning and practice productive communication skills. We are also compensating them with $40 Amazon gift cards + food.

  • The sign-up form for it should not take more than a minute to fill out.

  • Separately, I would also really appreciate it if you could circulate the same flyer via the App Inventor mailing lists. This can be to students, teachers, and/or parents since they could pass it on to one another.

Would really appreciate your help since this is one of the major projects for my PhD dissertation and I am on a tight timeline with it.

Thank you!

Best
