The IEEE Integrated STEM Education Conference will be online and free this year.

  ****  Saturday August 1 -- 9am-6:30pm

This conference is usually held in Princeton NJ in March, but this year's conference will be online -- and it will be a free event.  Sign up now and warm up your web browsers!

The morning session will feature three keynote talks:

  *  “What Every Child (And Teacher) Should Know About Artificial Intelligence” (David Touretzky, Carnegie-Mellon University)
  *  “Bringing Artificial Intelligence into the Real World” (Naveen Verma, Princeton University)
  *  “Leveraging the Power of IEEE’s Global Communities" (Burt Dicht, IEEE)

The afternoon session will have a number of papers and presentations by educators and students.

Program Highlights

Keynote Speakers:

Prof. David S. Touretzky, Research Professor in the Computer Science Department and Neuroscience Institute at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA.  Dr. Touretzky is the chair of the AI4K12 Initiative (AI4K12.org), a joint project of the Association for the Advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AAAI) and the Computer Science Teachers Association (CSTA) that is developing national guidelines for teaching AI in K-12.His keynote presentation is titled, “What Every Child (And Teacher) Should Know About Artificial Intelligence”

Prof. Naveen Verma, Director of the Keller Center for Education in Innovation and Entrepreneurship and Professor of Electrical Engineering, Princeton University. His keynote presentation is titled, “Bringing Artificial Intelligence into the Real World”

Mr. Burt Dicht, Director of University Programs, IEEE. His keynote presentation is titled, “Leveraging the Power of IEEE’s Global Communities - To Impact as Many Students as Possible: The IEEE Volunteer Pre-University STEM Portal”

Technical Program:
The program includes 50 technical papers and 30 posters on STEM focused research.
