Below is the notice of a virtual panel discussion on teaching CS and Distance Learning on August 6th from 7:00 PM-8:30 PM, organized by the CSTANJ Central chapter. ATTENTION Computer Science Teachers – Mark your calendars! On Thursday, August 6th the CSTA Chapters from NJ will host a virtual panel discussion meeting about distance learning.

The meeting will be held from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM and is meant for beginner as well as experienced teachers. Topics will include:

• Distance learning experiences from teachers in elementary, middle, high school and college.
• Obstacles that were faced and what was found to work in different situations.
• The flipped classroom.
• Cloud based IDEs.
• Online assessment tools.

We believe that this collaboration and the Q&A session will support Computer Science teachers as they begin to prepare for the start of the school year. The agenda and the link to the digital meeting will be posted shortly. We hope you can join us!
