意大利教育中心协会（Associazione Uni-Italia）由意大利外交部、意大利教育、大学及科研部以及意中基金会三方于2010年7月30日成立，该协会的前身为已发展近三年的Uni-Italia项目。

目前，除位于罗马的总部以外，在北京意大利驻华大使馆、上海总领馆、广州总领馆均设有分支机构，通过推广活动协助意大利教育机构的工作。中心特别致力于通过提供意大利相关教育信息来优化留学生选拔程序以及在中国推广意大利语。

在意大利，意大利教育中心协会通过其在协议大学设立的Desk Uni-Italia 由指定负责人来帮助留学生适应当地大学学习生活、文化活动（协助办理意大利语言、文化课程相关手续等）。
