Hello everyone,

Welcome to the CSSPLICE Curriculum Packaging Working Group! We're pleased that so many folks were interested in this problem and have joined our mailing list. Hopefully we can make some real progress on this problem! For those who'd like a refresher, you might want to check out our website. You can find our notes from the CSSPLICE Workshop presentation and breakout sessions, along with a rough transcript of our Birds of a Feather session. Over the coming months, you'll be hearing from us periodically about our plans and next steps.

Right now, to get started, we would like to hear about other open-source, version-controlled courses. At SIGCSE, we briefly showed off Phil Conrad's UCSB courses and Cory Bart's Python Sneks curriculum. These are useful starting points, but we want to get a broader sense of what's out there. If you have or know of a set of curriculum materials that are at least partially available as a public GitHub, please submit a link to the GitHub as a Pull Request on our Course Repos repository!

Please also feel free to start more conversation here on this listserv. We're still early in this project and, although we have a lot of ideas, things are still mutable. If you have thoughts you want to share, we're all listening!

Cheers,
~Cory Bart
