Important Sunday Update

[Connaught Square Squirrel Hunt]

We do hope that you can make it on Sunday.

 

There will be a substantial press presence so we need as many supporters as possible.  Remember: its great fun, family-friendly and you can take as much or little exercise as you like.

 

Just to remind you, our meet is at 1 pm at the Duke of Kendal pub, Connaught Street, W2.

 

We shall move off at around 1.45 so don't worry if you are a little late.  If you arrive after that, just go into Hyde Park - I don't think you'll be able to miss us.

 

As you know, we have been asked by the Police to postpone our Mounted Meet because of threats of being picketed by anti-hunt protesters.  You will be glad to know that they have agreed in principle that we can have our Mounted Meet next year when they are able to give it a greater police presence.

Now, DRESS CODE -

 

For those who are newcomers to the Hunt, the Joint Masters and Secretary will be in the colours of the CSSH: midnight blue velvet with shocking pink collars and lining.

 

As usual, all our supporters are invited to wear hunting kit, either in traditional form (as we will be, sort of) or whatever mix of hunting kit, general riding kit and normal clothes.

 

Please do join in if you can and help make this a spectacular and newsworthy event.
