How difficult it is to stay slim!  Regard the Gentlemen with their World Cup bellies and the Ladies toying with their Wimbledon strawberries and cream.  Armchair sportsmen, one and all, drowsily reaching for the next bite of swimsuit-fearing cake, we wonder how this can change.

 

At last, the answer comes: cheaper than liposuction, less painful than a crash diet, more fun than the gym, the means to turn pillow to piston, flab to firm, stroke-able flesh ...

 

Meet this Sunday!

 

Yes, its the next meet of the Squirrel Hunt, this Sunday at 4pm Duke of Kendal Pub, Connaught Street, W2 2AF.  As ever, all are welcome to join us for Squirrel Port and Hunt Sandwiches at the meet before briskly moving off at 4.30ish to Hyde Park, where we shall pursue a dog chasing a sock in the traditional manner.  Family friendly,  followers can run, walk or sit in their push-chair to view the hunt and we shall return to the pub for Hunt tea at about 5.30.

 

All followers will receive a 2006 Meet Card in which this meet is listed as the Pre-Macmillan Dog Day Meet.  This technically remains correct but the Hunt has had unfortunately to withdraw from participating in the Macmillan Dog Day on 4th July for reasons that for the moment must remain confidential.  Please still attend, if you can, as Macmillan Cancer Relief is a good charity and the Dog Day is the highlight of their calendar. On other matters, many of you have kindly offered us photographs and videos taken during our previous Hunts.  The legendary Steve Edge (  http://www.steve-edge.com/) has kindly agreed to help redesign our website at www.csshhq.org.uk and we would be very grateful if you could forward your photos and videos to css...@gmail.com when you have a moment.  Please make them an attachment and leave them full size.

And don't forget to buy Ball tickets for 6 October 2006: application form attached.  The Ball Committee's hard work has ensured already that this year's ball will exceed even last year's great event.  Please book early to assist our blood pressure and cash-flow.
