Chasse de la Place Connaught [écureuil] - cette Dimanche a 1600 hrs

[Connaught Square Squirrel Hunt]

Mes amis, mes braves, ma chéri - on Sunday the Chasse de la Place Connaught [écureuil] (that's the Connaught Square Squirrel Hunt to you linguaphobes) will be meeting at the the Dule of Kendal at 4pm before moving at 4.30pm to rub shoulders with our Gallic bicycle loving cousins who will be carrying on with their two-wheeled Tour de France departure celebrations

We of course, with full fraternité and égalité, will be celebrating the French penchant for la liberté: France where dogs are free to chase squirrels up trees without risk of having their collars felt by les gendarmes (and being put down); France a country where dog owners cannot be fined €7, 408.44 [at €1.48 to £1.00] and have their houses searched, computers and mobile phones confiscated, without recourse to a warrant or magistrate if their dog (chien) is seen chasing a squirrel (écureuil) towards a tree (arbre).

So see you this THIS SUNDAY, AT 4 PM AT Le PUB CAFE DUC DE KENDAL, CONNAUGHT STREET All welcome: from pushchairs to wheelchairs and everything in between. Do bring visiting packs but please remember to bring a lead.
