FYI, Mike owned and operated 'Gold Coast Skydivers'.

Some sad news: Mike Igo died last night after a 4 month struggle with lung cancer, which had spread to his esophagus and throat. I'm heartbroken for his wife, Leanne.

Hello Everyone.
This is to inform all of you that Mike Igo passed away at 11:45 pm tonight
4-21-10. He fought a tough battle and gave it everything he had.
Unfortunately, the treatment he received for his cancer did not work. He joined
his older brother and Dad tonight so I am sure they are doing a lot of
catching up right now. I firmly believe he is up in Heaven right recruiting
people for the first jump course.
I will keep you posted as to what the arrangements will be. Mike wanted
to be cremated and a service to be held at the DZ to celebrate his life. It
will be at least a few weeks before we have this get together but I just
wanted to let you know so that you are not waiting and wondering.
Please send me an email if you would like me to get in touch with you. I
will be away from my phone as I need some time to mourn the loss of my
husband.

P.S. Before you ask.....YES, Gold Coast Skydivers will be open this
