Hi everyone!

If you remember last year our Microsoft student partners organised an end of semester Halo 3 LAN to help everyone destress before exams and generally have a good time.
It went down extremely well, so we have plans to make it a regular event. Currently monthly seems like a good frequency, but I need to get a general idea of what days and times people are free.
While it could be held during the day, having it after hours would make it easier to reserve a good spot, and also not have to worry about disturbing those who have work to do during the day. Currently it's looking to be something like '6pm on the first Friday of every month' as an example. What days are good for you? Do you have any thoughts you'd like to contribute?

Ok, hopefully we can find a time that's good for everyone and get the ball rolling on organising the first one for the year.

The UWA Microsoft Student Partners will also be supporting these events throughout the semester.

No promises, but we hope to provide consoles, games, organisation and perhaps even snacks.

I'd encourage everyone to support these events, as mostly things don't get done simply because people can't be bothered. Everyone lets pull together to get this happening!

As most students like to try to take Friday's off, I'd suggest the first thursday of every month.

Luke
