When : 27th May 2010, 2pm-5pm
Where : Fellows Room, Trinity College, 230 Hampden Rd, Crawley
Refreshments will be provided.
The Information Services Division is undertaking a UWA Student IT needs Study with a view to improving IT services for students.
To achieve this, a series of workshops are planned at which groups of
students will have the opportunity to provide comment on IT facilities
and services available to students at UWA and for their views on how
these IT facilities and services might be improved and enhanced to be
heard.
The Study is seeking information on IT needs and issues of students
today and into the future. Comments on students’ expectations of IT
and on how they prefer to use technology will be appreciated as will
comments on the strengths and weakness of IT facilities and services
currently provided.

Well that's the spiel from my boss anyway. Basically, ITS is looking to
run a bunch of workshops (probably forever) of students to help inform
our strategic decision making.
The 'refreshments' are tea, coffee, savoury and sweet finger food. This
is a great opportunity to get any issues about UWA IT off your chests
and is a genuine attempt to build an IT infrastructure for *you*,
rather than what IT people think is a good idea. I really encourage you
all to attend.
