Receiving a message to head up to the company COs office Marcus left his platoon sergeant in-charge of platoon's morning PT. Making sure his MCUs were presentable he hit the chime and waited to be invited into the office.
Kasey was reviewing the latest intell on the Nali, before they came aboard again. He was trying to figure out a good schedule and route to take. Also trying to figure out who to put as an escort along with MACO Captain Winbledon. He looked up from his computer when he heard the chime. "enter!"
"1st Arrius reporting as ordered." He said coming to a quick salute and holding it until he was told to go back to a at ease position.
Kasey looked at the young MACO. "at ease Lt. Have a seat. I just want to see how things were going with your integration with your platoon." he smiled, "Oh yea would you like some coffee water?" he moved to the replicator.
"Water please. And the integration is going fine but my concern is the Nali in all honesty something just doesn't feel right. If you don't mind I would like to get together with our new Chief Intelligence officer and go over some things."
He quickly punched in the request and brought the glass over. "I have no problems with you meet in with the Intel people. Yea i was kinda getting the same feeling about the Nali, you know there is just something about them i just can't put my finger on." Moving back to his chair and sitting. "you were one of the lucky ones tho i was with General Archer and Captain Kirk on the planet. It was getting ugly down there."
Marcus just nodded, "I'll get with this Riov and see what we can come up with. But I'm not really looking forwarded to working with this Rommie." Marcus said not afraid of showing his disdain towards the Romulans.
"Lt i understand your distaste for Romulans, but remember she is an officer assigned to this ship and she out ranks us in position and rank. We need to show her respect " He said sternly. "the reason i called was to have you and Cpl. Siedlecki, assist MACO Captain Wimbledon with escorting the Nali thru the ship. I'm going to send you and Wimbledon the route, as soon as i get it approved."
"Of course sir." Marcus said with a quick nod.
"What are your plans for training for today?" he asked taking a sip of his water.
"Simple PT and maybe some boarding training." Marcus said sipping on his water.
He grinned, "Except an extra body at your boarding training. I need to get out of the office plus it looks like tons of fun."
"Of course sir. I always make my drills fun or at least fun for me to watch my men go through them." He said with a small chuckle.
"good let me know when you are getting started please. Standard gear?" he asked standing, hands behind his back and moved over to picture of his Cold weather training platoon.
"Standard along with some breaching tools." Marcus added standing up, "anyways I'll get out of your way." He quickly added.
He grinned, "lt your never in my way. Plus if you were i'd let you know. I'll see you at boarding training then Lt. and Marcus, Good job with your platoon."
"Thank you sir." Marcus said as he left the office.
