A Mission Post by Acting Commander Melanie Dez & Acting erie'Riov Llana t'Nerik
Mission: Double the Pleasure, Double the Fun
Location: Command Information Center
Timeline:

=^= Command Information Center, USS Enterprise =^=

Just behind the bridge lays the CiC or Command Information Center this is where all the tactical information and intelligence comes in to be vetted and figure out what to do with it. And it was highly protected with layers and layers of firewalls along with re-fortified bulkheads and a full platoon of MACOs guarding it. And on top of that only selected people could even enter the CiC mainly the command staff and majority of the intelligence officers could.

Llana was in her small office using the older version of a intelligence vetting program that the Star Empire developed and shared with the Federation after it moved onto a better program. Just then she heard the distincitve sound that the doors of the CiC made when they opened. Standing up and she walked out of her office and saw the Executive officer walk in, "Commander Dez what I can I help you with?" Llana asked.

"t'Nerik, we have a situation that I think you are uniquely qualified to help with." Melanie replied. "As you know, we've been hailed by Romulan Captain Venji. It appears they have a missing ship." With everything else that was going on it seemed fitting to delegate this to the 2nd Officer, and since that officer was also Romulan it seemed serendipitous.

"He's much more than a Captain Commander he's the Commander of all RSE forces in the Delta Quadrant his equivalent rank in StarFleet is Rear Admiral." Llana said with a small growl. "What type of ship is missing?" She asked.

Melanie could appreciate the correction but would not abide Llana's tone. With a lowered brow and a look on her face to show her displeasure she said coldly, "Thank you, Commander, for correcting me." She then handed a PADD to her with the information they had received about the missing ship. "It is an older k'mar class scout ship. I am sure you know the specifications. They showed concern that it may start preying upon freighters and less armed crafts than itself."

Llana allowed a weird sound escape her lips it was a cross between a hiss and a sigh. "We need to find this ship now!" She said looking up at the Commander, "and let me guess we were told to just locate and report back?" Llana said knowing the SOP of Romulan command.

"No Commander, we simply need to be aware of it, and yes, observe and report." The trill executive officer replied firmly. "Granted, if we do find it and observe any suspicious activity we may have to take a different course of action. I am not going to divert all of this ships resources to finding an errant ship for the Romulan Empire. Be aware though, this seems to be connected in some way to the ISS ships we have been attempting to find."

It wasn't uncommon that the mirror universe effected more then just the Federation. But for the Romulans it was a rare spectacle mainly because the loyalty that the Romulans have to the Empire no matter what universe. "I may have a way to track it down give me a few days." Llana said looking back at the Commander.

"One suggestion, focus your search around known trade lanes. If I were trying to ambush freighters I would hide within the edges of nebulae or cloak within asteroid belts nearest a known trade lane." It seemed logical and followed much of what she had read of Orion raider tactics, i.e. hunt where the hunting is good.

Llana made a mental note to look at all trade lanes new and old and along with well hidden ones near nebula and asteroid fields. She also assumed that they would have a small base of operation somewhere but whether that was shared with the other mirror people she had no idea.

"Keep me informed." Melanie said as she turned towards the door, "That is all."
