A Mission Post by Lieutenant Colonel Morgan "Valkyrie" D'varo & Lieutenant Amanda Duquesne & Master Chief Petty Officer Henry O'Malley
Mission: Double the Pleasure, Double the Fun
Location: Deck 22, Fighter Launch Berths
Timeline: SD 241111.06

=/= Deck 13, Engineering Support, Special Projects Lab =/=

Amanda was overseeing the loading of the last batch of programmed nanobots into the warhead of the third special torpedo casing. "Easy now, boys...be gentle with it...I'd hate to miss my deadline with the Colonel because you dropped my little beauties on the floor and I had to vaporize one of you! The paperwork is a pain in the arse!" The lab techs smiled...nervously, not really knowing if she was kidding or not!

Finally, the module was locked into the casing and Amanda thanked the techs, ordering everyone out except O'Malley. Once they'd gone, Amanda secured the door and pricked her finger, releasing a small drop of blood, which she placed on a special isolinear chip and snapped the orifice closed, She slid the chip into PADD created for the purpose of communicating with "Mommy's Little Helpers". As soon as the chip was inserted, the PADD scanned Amanda as she held it in her hand, confirming her biometrics and her physical status.

After this, words appeared on the screen on the PADD that said, [Hello, Mommy. How can we help you?] Amanda smiled and said, "Hello my darlings. Mommy's sending you to stop those bad people that want to hurt her and the Federation's friends. We're going to launch you onto their ships. You are to interface with the Main Computer Core, Communications, internal security monitors, Engineering and Life Support, the way I taught you and wait for further instructions, all right?" [OK, Mommy. We will.] the reply came back. Amanda winked at O'Malley. "Thank you, babies. Talk to you soon. Be safe." said Amanda. [Command acknowledged...programming confirmed and completed...awaiting launch...] the display showed.

Amanda closed the casing and locked it tight with the key. "OK, O'Mal. Let's take these to Deck 22 to Colonel D'varo." she said, "We'll make our deadline spot on." "Right you are, Boss." replied O'Malley, "After you, mum." Amanda nodded and moved out with the anti-grav pallet she had carrying one casing, followed by O'Malley with a wider pallet carrying the other two. They reached the Cargo turbolift and loaded up indicating Deck 22 as the destination.

=/= Deck 22, Fighter Launch Berths =/=

Amanda and O'Malley reached the Fighter Launch Berths as the fighters were being prepped for their sortie against the Mirror starships. Amanda spotted Morgan as she was looking over her bird, caught her attention and waved her over.

Nodding to the new arrivals as she approached. "Welcome to pilot territory. As you can see we're in active preparation for our next mission. Good timing on bringing our hidden ace."

"Indeed! My little friends will be most useful in finally putting these scum where they belong, Colonel!" replied Amanda, "Just make sure you soften up the shield area where you shoot these with plenty of hits so they can pop through to the hull. They'll do the rest from there. Good Luck, Colonel!"

Unable to hide the smile that formed on her face, "No problems with that one. Firing at things is what we do best. Thanks for your work on this one."

"Not a problem, Colonel. It was our pleasure, believe me!" said Amanda with a big grin, "Give the Emperor my regards with a micro torp up the arse!"

"Gladly. You're not the only one that wants to see things go boom," Morgan replied, "If you'll excuse me, it's time to get our birds in the air, once we have these beauties loaded."

"Have fun, Valkyrie. I'll be on the Bridge watching for the telemetry from my Babies." said Amanda with a smile. She and O'Malley left the fighter berths and went back to Engineering to wait for the squadron's sortie to launch. She knew that the mission was going to be very exciting...to say the least.
