So far Morgan's day was not going well. As she left Archer's quarters her she couldn't get her mind off of recent events. It added a new sense of urgency to the upcoming mission. One way or another they needed answers sooner rather than later. The first item on Morgan's agenda was to stop by her office. There were a few last minute items that required her attention there before she could focus completely on the mission ahead.

After that she'd head for the flight deck. Given earlier events there was no room for mistakes. Morgan also wanted to conduct and in depth review of flight deck security procedures. For now permanent changes would have to wait as they had more important matters to attend to.

Entering her office Morgan went straight to her desk. Quickly pulling up the current flight manifest to ensure no last minute changes were required. Skimming it she nodded to herself in a state of acceptance. Things appeared to be in satisfactory order. Both the pilot rotation and the flight order looked good.

Next she took a moment to gather her briefing notes. Morgan read through them one final time to ensure everything she wanted to convey to her pilots had been addressed. It had become a habit to run through a final check of critical items before every flight to decrease the chance of errors. Nothing about her routine changed from flight to flight.

Morgan wanted justice satisfied. As a fighter pilot she was about to do her part to accomplish that objective.
