Korath had just finished talking to Captain Kirk about the situation on the planet. He had intended to Call the Enterpirse Co before speaking with the Captain but the situation did not pan out that way. "Computer Open a channel to Commander Dez Aboard the Enterprise." Korath said.

[Working, channel open ] the computer replied.

Korath waited until the terminal changed from the Federation seal to a visual of the Commander.

Melanie was in her ready room when her screen blinked and notified her of an incoming transmission. She pressed a button and the screen presented Captain Korath. "Greeting Captain. I am Melanie Dez, Commander of the USS Enterprise."

"It is Good to meet you Captain." Korath said calling the commander by her post rather than her rank. "I wanted to talk to you and arrange for our crew to work together in the hopes that we can find a way to deal with the crisis with the NTE" Korath knew that the Enterprise had been through a lot in the Delta Quadrant, he also knew that starfleet took care of their own and the Archer would be ready to help.

"Thank you Captain, we are currently searching for leads. We would be interested in sharing information if it can bring this to a swift close." Melanie offered with a minor caveat.

Korath nodded. "A swift closer would be in both our best interests." the Klingon agreed. "We would be willing to share any info we have on our own dealings of course. Captain Kirk had suggested allowing our crews to work together in coming up with a way to detect the MU crews more reliably. Part of my contacting you would be to get the green light on that. the last we want is to overstep our welcome Captain." Korath added as a way of respect for the commander's authority as temporary commander of Enterprise.

"Agreed, I will arrange a liaison from my crew to coordinate this exchange of intelligence with your crew." It crossed her mind, since Captain Kirk was the one sponsoring this deal, he would perfect for the liaison role.

"That would be much appreciated." Korath nodded. "One more item I wanted to apprise you of, The Archer is standing by to provide medical supplies and equipment for the Nali. I had suggested it to Captain Kirk as a potential venture to help prove Enterprises' innocence among the people of Nali. I did not however believe sending the shipment without at least explaining why would not have been taken well." Korath said. "I am assuming that General Archer would need to be apprised of the intention as well. I understand he has his hands full with the Accusations."

"We will coordinate the transport of supplies with the General's arrival on Nali. He can present it as a peace offering of sorts." Melanie responded. "This is to take place at approximately 1600 hrs. The Enterprise will contact you just before that time. Is there anything else Captain?"

Korath shook his head. "Nothing that must be discussed right this moment." He said. "I will advise the Archer's medical department to have the supplies ready by then I would however like to shuttle over with my CMO and have him start working with your medical team to start learning what they know about the NTE."
