=^= 2 hours after Dept head meeting=^=
John had crashed out on the bed with bones after he got out of the meeting. He had already seen the doctor to treat the slight burning on his face and hands from the exploding EPS conduits near engineering. Bones was passed out from all the running around his office and the walk back to the quarters.

Becca walked in and pulled off her duty jacket, tossing it onto the bed on bed, smiling at John as she saw him on the bed. "Hiya sleepy." she said, rubbing the back of her neck.

John barely raised his head and waved to her and fell back down on the pillow.

She chuckled, "Oh come on...thats all I get after a hard day?" she said sitting on the bed next to him, leaning over to give him a kiss.

John nodded his head and smiled as she kissed him. He was too tired from helping out in engineering during the attack. He stayed curled up on the bed. He didn't want to move.

She pulled off her shoes and curled up next to him, falling asleep.

Becca was sitting up in the bed, reading one of her books.

 

John woke up and looked over at Becca. He didn't remember her showing up and laying down next to him. He really need to stay away from the doctors they always seemed to get him with the slowacting sedatives.

She looked over and smiled, "Hey hon." she said quietly.

John leaned over and gave her kiss. " Hey hun, i didn't know you had crawled into bed with me." he said with a smile as he slowly got up. He headed towards the bathroom so he could take a sonic shower.

She chuckled, "I crawled in six hours ago hon...when my shift ended." she said as he stood up and walked toward the bathroom.

John laughed. "Then I must have been really out of it." He yelled out as the sonic shower started.

She nodded and walked into the bathroom, and picked up her hairbrush so she could brush her hair.

John chuckled as he leaned his arm out and pulled her shoulder closer to him so he could give her another kiss. " Love you hun" he said as he leaned back into the sonic shower.

She smiled, returning the kiss, droping the hair brush. "oops." she said, reaching down to pick it up. "Love you too."

 

John smiled as he turned the sonic shower off and reached out, grabbing a towel. John walks up behind her and wraps his arms around her. "I will probably have to do some paperwork and get in touch with the red dwarf csec as well. I'll have to train him and his men"

She felt his arms around her and chuckled. "Awww." she said looking at him and giving him a cute pout.

John smiled. "I'm doing all my work from my desk here in the room so no pouting and you have another 8 hours before your next duty shift. So don't give me that pout" He said as he leaned down and kissed her neck. He headed back to the the room and to his desk where he pulled up all his reports.

She walked out after him, "As the old 20th century saying went..its my party and I'll pout if I want to." she said giving him another pout as she walked over to the closet and pulled out a civilian pair of tan pants and a soft blue shirt.

John chuckled as he pulled up all the reports from his men. It seemed that the First Force members had been a little pushy during their trip through the wormhole. It seemed that he would have to talk to their XO shortly.

She got changed and walked into the room where he was working and sat down on the couch with one of her books and started reading.

 

John pounded his fist down into the table. He saw several reports of complaints from his men about the first force members. He sent a message to Ltjg Cooper that he wanted to speak with her.

Setting down the book for a moment she stood up and walked over to the replicator, getting a cup of tea and returning to the couch to continue reading.

He got up from his desk and flopped down on the couch next to her and looks over at her book. " Are you reading that hopeless romantic stuff again hun?" 

She gave him an odd look, "Hey Im not asking you to read it am I?" she asked, shaking her head and reaching down to pick up her cup and taking a sip.

John chuckled as he grabbed the book and started reading out loud one of the pages. " And the exotic man started to passionately kiss her and caress her back." John read and then he laughed. " You know this is really mushy but this book is starting to put me to shame."

She laughed, closing the book, her cheeks red. "Its just all in fun. You know I love you more than this stuff." she said with a nervous chuckle.

"Is Miss stubborn, and Miss I'm doing it my way, embarassed because of a book?" John said with a chuckle while he put his hands up to protect him.

She frowned, thwapping his shoulder softly with the book, turning away, pretending to be upset, pouting.

 

John smiles and wraps his arms around him. He chuckled as he leaned close to her ear. " Its alright hun you know i love you"

She nodded and looked back at him. "I love you too."

 

John pulled one of the PADDS up and looks through the selection of 21st century movies. " Hey you want to watch one of these at all?"

She looked over at the PADD and back at him. "Hmm...Sure." she said leaning her head on his shoulder.

John laughed. " Well that wasn't much of a choice. Pick one hun While i replicate some popcorn and sodas." He said with a smile and headed over to the replicator as he said he would.

She smiled, "How about a nice romantic comedy." she said pointing to one and looking at him. "How do you do this?" she said.

John laughed and turned around. " Computer change from portrait to video screen" He said as the portait changed infront of her. "Now just tell the computer what you want to watch hun." He said as he walked back with a tub of popcorn and two sodas.

She smiled and walked over to the video screen and imputed a movie for them to watch. "How about this one?"

John looked down at her choice. " When Harry met Sally? Now that is an old one hun. Computer play When Harry Met Sally?"

She smiled, "I couldnt really think of something...Ive never really seen a movie. At least not like this." she said sitting back down.

 

John chuckled. " Well it seems like i have to introduce you to some new things that i was years and years ago."

She nodded, "Good..more reason to spend more time together." she said with a wink.

John wrapped his arm around her and pulled her in close. He enjoyed his time with her.

She looked up at him and gave him a kiss on the cheek. "Love you." she whispered, leaning her head against him again.

John leaned down and gave her a kiss and pulled her close to him. " I love you too."

"I couldnt be happier." she said, putting her arms around him and snuggling close.

John smiled and watched the movie. Bones walked around and sat infront of them whining. He then jumped up onto John's lap and laid down. " You little punk Bones."

She smiled at the dog and chuckled, humming softly, watching the little pup start to fall asleep.

John laughed as he rubbed Bones head and scratched him behind the ears. He then leaned down and kissed her on the forehead.

 

She smiled up at him. "I seem to have that effect on him." she said. She caught the look. "You dont want me to sing do you?" she asked, chuckling and closing her eyes.

John smiled at her. " Shush you, the movie is on." He said with a chuckle and a finger to her lips.

She smirked and kissed his finger, giggling as she leaned in.

Becca has her head leaned up against him her eyes closed and still cuddling him but isnt really sleeping but just relaxing.

John woke up. {{Damn medicine is still affecting me}}. He couldn't believe that he had fallen asleep sitting up.

Becca jerked sharply again, her eyes tightly closing and her breathing had started to increase as if in a panic.

 

John felt her tense up and jerk. He started to shake her, trying to wake her if she was asleep. He didn't know what was going on but he would try to get her out of it.

 

Becca groaned, shaking quite a bit. The dream was very intense and she didnt wake up right away. She was frowning still dreaming as John tried to wake her up.

John knew this was going to be an invasion of her privacy but he needed to see what was causing her to be this way. He did a mind meld with her to see what she was dreaming. He soon plunged himself into her dream.

She was still being tormented in her dreams by the crash that took place all those numerous years at the academy. Despite her best efforts, she couldnt get it out of her mind. Things suddenly changed and she was having a nightmare about the ship they were on in a battle and was seeing members of the crew sucked off of the bridge through a breech, John along with them as she clung one of the consoles to avoid being sucked out as well.

 

John looked around and saw that he was on the bridge of the enterprise. He looked around and saw himself go flying through a breach in the hull. He wondered why the forcefields hadn't gone up. He looked around and saw Becca holding onto the operations console he walked over to her and grabbed her by the waist. He then dispersed the dream and made it a white slate.

Becca trembled looking up at him, trying to figure out where they were. Within seconds of appearing in this clean white world, she woke up looking a bit out of sorts and still trembling.

John smiled down at her and kissed her forehead. " The forcefields will come on before anyone goes flying out." He said as he picked her up and put her in their bed.

Becca nodded, leaning her head up against his shoulder. She was still trying to catch her breath. It had been a very vivid dream. One she had been having on end for the last several nights.

John curled up behind her and wrapped his arms around her and pulled her in tight. " Don't worry, I'm right here. I'm not going to go out that way." He said as he kissed her neck. " No more romantic comedies for you now."

 

Becca nodded and managed a small smile hugging him back. " I love you" she said quietly. She was pretty much wide awake by now.

John smiled and continued holding her. " I love you too hun." he said as he felt bones jump on the bed and walk up towards them and start pawing at John's arm. " Well it looks like the little one wants to go get some exercise. Computer is anyone using any of the holodecks." he said quietly. [Holodeck 3 is not being used. Ltjg Kirk.]the computer replied.

Becca smiled, " I'm up for it if you are. I wouldn't mind getting out of here for awhile." she said, finally taking a deep breath, appearing to be calming down.

John smiled at her and was about to reply when he heard his desk beep. " Doesn't look like i will be going with you hun. Work calls for me." He said as he got up and looked at his desk monitor as it slid up out of the desk. " and it looks like i have to go to my office." He headed back to the bed and gave her a kiss. Then he went into his closet and got out a fresh uniform. " I'm sorry hun." He said as he dashed out the door.

 

Becca smiled, tapping her combage. "Okay hon... love you." she said as she walked to the bed to pick up her uniform jacket and pulled it on.
