Dallas had just woken up, and seeing as he had nothing to do for the
most part, he went to Starcher's quarters, and pressed the chime. He was
going to talk to him, see how he was adjusting, as well as see if he
wanted to book a holodeck sometime, and go for a free shoot with him.
Shadow had just finished eating his breakfast and reading over a PADD. His
>> mind had wondered off to Alanna and how she was doing. "Come" he called
as the door chime rang. He looked up and saw his unit commander coming
through the door. "What can I do for you Commander?" Shadow asked.
"I was just wondering how you were settling in," Dallas replied. "If
there's anything I can do to help, or get you acquainted, let me know. That
in mind, you up for a session in the holodeck? Maybe a shooting practice."
"Well Commander, to be quite honest I am on my way to my daily workout. You
are quite welcome to join me, usually I start out with a calastenics
routine, then move on to heavy bag work out and finish with a Sparring match
or two to keep my hand to hand skills fresh." He says and looks up at the
Commander, his mind fresh with what had happened with Alanna.
Dallas flexed his arms, and realized he hadn't been to the gym in a few
days. "Sure, I'll tag along. I'll be your spot on the bag and sparring. Not
to fast though, let the old man keep pace. For appearances, you know,"
Dallas joked. That said, they both left the quarters and headed to the gym.
Dallas replicated a set of clothes and they changed, before heading out to
the equipment stations. "What first?"
Shadow lead the commander out of his quarters and to the workout deck for
First Force on deck 7. "First we will start out with warm up and stretching
exercises then we will do some cardio as well as core toning. This being
Monday I also do a weightlifting routine for toning and strengthening. I
recon I can take it easy on the "old man"," he said with a smile.
