text input widget and about local pv

Hi,

I have a question about text input widget. I set the 'selector type' is 'File'. I need the full path to open the file, however I just want the name only on the display. How can I achieve this?

I have anther question is about loacal PV. I remembered that the value of local PVs are always there if just closed the display not the CSS in the old version of CSS. However the value of local PVs are initialized to zero now even if just close the display. Then it comes out problem for me as I used a lot of local PVs. When I reopen the display, the status of widgets used local PVs changed. This is not I want. I'd like the local PV value kept in memery like before. Do you have some solutions?

 You just need to set File Return Part to "Name Only". It will remember the whole path.

That's the new behavior of PV Manager. You just need to switch back to utility_pv in BOY preference>OPI Runtime>PV Connection Layer to have the old behavior, but please don't use any new syntax from PVManager.

I have set File Return Part to "Name Only", but how can I get the full path in javascript? I tried "var filePath = PVUtil.getString(pvs[0]);" and "var filePath = widget.getPropertyValue("text");" It just return the name.
