Encompass tasks like accurate and timely payroll processing, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, and managing employee inquiries related to pay.
They also involve collaborating with HR, finance, and other departments to maintain accurate employee records and handle payroll-related issues.
Key Responsibilities:
Calculating and distributing wages, salaries, bonuses, and deductions while adhering to company policies and legal regulations.
Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations and labor laws.
Maintaining accurate employee records, including personal information, employment details, and tax withholdings.
Responding to employee inquiries about payroll and resolving issues promptly.
Generating and distributing payroll reports, including payroll summaries, tax reports, and labor cost analyses.
Working with HR, finance, and other departments to ensure data accuracy and resolve payroll-related issues.
Performing regular audits and verifications of payroll data to identify and rectify any inaccuracies.
Supporting the implementation of new payroll systems or upgrades and participating in process improvement initiatives.
Staying updated with the latest payroll regulations, tax laws, and labor standards.
