I am Selva, currently a gap-year student at ESCP Europe Business School in Paris.
I have been much involved in my student association called NOISE, a club within the school that promotes social innovation, social entrepreneurship and CSR among other topics. The NOISE tries to tell students, professors and alumni that social innovation is
conceivable when in a business school.
I have been in several projects around social innovation, such as an internship in the Philippines with famous NGO Gawad Kalinga. The project was about animating brainstorming sessions for social entrepreneurs with students in several prestigious universities.
It seemed natural for me that after an internship in an advertising and branding agency, I would choose to work in Ashoka France.
I am currently working in Ashoka France, Paris, on co-creation projects. The goal is to promote hybrid partnerships among social entrepreneurs, companies and the public sector to have more impact when solving social and environmental issues.
CSR seems to be the first step towards co-creation and Ashoka wants to highlight it!
Ashoka, with its four partners the Zermatt Summit Foundation, Guilé Foundation, DPD and Boehringer Ingelheim, organizes its first European Social & Business Co-Creation Competition : collaboration for impact, to source, highlight and support innovative co-creation projects in Europe.
I did not know much about co-creation before joining Ashoka but I did know that it was the path to follow for intrapreneurs and CSR believers.
Now, I am glad to be part of the CSR Resources community and to share about myself, Ashoka and Co-Creation. Do not hesitate to ask me for more information about my experiences and the European competition, I would be pleased to help!
