Ritika Sood
My name is Ritika Sood and I work as a Program Coordinator with IDEX Accelerator Program, investing in human capital in the social enterprise space. We are a fellowship program in social enterprise. We bring talent from across the globe and train them hands-on on various facets of development space.
In my job role, I work on fellow and SE outreach during our recruitment cycle. I assist on recruiting young professionals from across the globe and have them strategically placed with social enterprises in three cities in India. We work with host organizations in Mumbai, Hyderabad and Bangalore. I’m also responsible for monitoring and evaluating the fellows during their term as an IDEX fellow. In addition to that I work on arranging & facilitating various capacity building workshops and networking events to the fellows.
With experience of more than four years working with various social enterprises and think tanks I have harnessed skills in social enterprise management, human resource development and partnership developments
My journey so far ..........
How I became a social enterprise maniac
I grew up extensively travelling to both urban and rural India seeing the economic and social divide in the haves and have nots. I studied business and economics for undergrads and increasingly got interested in dynamics of development economics and pursued formal education in CSR and international development. Thereafter I have been working with various SE’s across India and Thailand and now I am in a phase where I am working on building the second most important pillar of Social enterprise- HUMAN CAPITAL for Social enterprise sector.
