MAY 2025 NEWSLETTER Lumberjackies/Monarch Win 2025 Spring 15s High School Girls State Championship! Next Up - 2025 Fall 7s Competition!   Training will start in August and competition will run from September and into early November (Williams Field in Superior, CO). Monarch Head Coach, Rick Gurmendi (BRFC member since 1995/SRFC member since 2010) is proud of the combined efforts of both clubs and incredibly grateful to all who have and will continue to support the growth of high school girls rugby between the sister clubs.  This championship is a rallying call for BRFC and SRFC to continue to grow high school girls rugby across the Boulder Valley, Boulder County, and beyond to get increase participation and, eventually, reboot the Boulder High School Girls program. Boulder RFC has been a proud sponsor of the Monarch High School girls program financially, via the BRFC social network, recruiting, and in spirit as BRFC members came to witness the final.   The combined team of Monarch (Superior RFC) and Lumberjackies RFC won the Rugby Colorado State Championship on Saturday, May 10th in the Glendale Rugby Stadium in Glendale, CO.  In a heart-pounding, close final against a combined Regis and Valor team, the Lumberjackies/Monarch team (a.k.a.
