Call for experts: CONSIDER’s workshop in Brussels, 1 July 2014

Research to tackle civic challenges requires civic input. CONSIDER seeks to support Civil Society Organisations’ (CSOs) participation in research by developing a set of guidelines and recommendations for relevant stakeholders.
We are keen for our final proposal to suit the needs of all those involved and will therefore test our work with relevant expert representatives of CSOs, research and policy. We will shortly be holding a workshop entitled ‘Guidelines and Recommendations for Effective Participation of Civil Society Organisations in Research’ to strengthen our work before developing our final proposal.
This workshop will take place at the Research Executive Agency COV2, European Commission, in Brussels on 1 July 2014 from 11.00-16.30.
If you believe you could contribute to these discussions as an expert in either CSO activity, research or policy, please email Eleanor (eleanor...@euclidnetwork.eu) with a short paragraph outlining your experience and requesting to participate. Please also confirm your availability for 1 July and highlight where you will be travelling from to attend this workshop in Brussels.
Travel Expenses and Accommodation
All reasonable travel expenses will be paid and hotel costs may be covered on a case by case basis at the discretion of the organiser.

Places are not guaranteed and will be allocated on a first come, first serve basis so please reply to as soon as possible to be in with the greatest chance of securing your attendance. Upon confirmation of participation, we will then provide attendants with further information on the CONSIDER project in preparation for the workshop.
