Calm down, please. I think it's pretty cool that we get weather
advisories on the Usenet. And if you didn't like the post so much, why
did you quote the ENTIRE THING?

You're simply dead wrong on this one. When the Federal Building in OKC
was bombed, I did a broadcast over the NCSU zephyr system and probably
1000 people saw it. That was generally the only way most of them knew it
had happened as it was happening.

Granted, Hurricane Bonnie does not have such an immediate impact as
breaking news, but there are many people who have no clue that there is
a hurricane out there.

He wasn't trying to sell anything. He wasn't trying to get anyone to do
anything for him. All he was doing was passing on valuable information.

Amen! But then, I'm a fan of wanton death and destruction anyway, so why
not have it just rip a giant swath up and down the Eastern Seaboard? That
would be very cool.

Well, I live in Wilson, NC, about 3 hours from South Port and if I wanted to
know about the hurricane I wouldn't come to this NG. I would turn on the
weather channel or the radio, their talking about it all the time. I think
you need to stop posting to alt.tv.dawsons-creek because our posters are
from all around the country and parts of the world as well and it has
nothing to do with them. In fact, I can't remember anyone else ever saying
they were even from NC. This is a television show that is broadcast
everywhere the WB network is available, the fact that it is filmed in
Wilmington has nothing to do with who would be in this group. Please stop.
Our interests lie elsewhere and some people are beginning to get annoyed. I
know your only looking for visitors to your site but none of us are planning
to go there, if we have not already.

I think I still have one around here somewhere...

As for bandwidth, does anyone know where I can buy some cheap? I figure
with everyone wasting it these days, pretty soon it'll be a hot
commodity. Start saving up your bandwidth now, and it might be worth
something someday.

Everyone, take note. Tank-Commander knows how to spell "general".
"genreral", as it appears in the Newsgroups: line is not the correct
spelling. This has been a public service announcement.

I agree - it would be very cool to have a hurricane that goes up and then
back down the entire eastern seaboard. Now that would be something worthy
of hourly updates...

All I have to say is if people dont want to read your posts, then they
can skip them. I personally would just assume read the tropical updates
while I am here looking at the other posts than to have to chase links
her and there on the net. Keep up the good work and post whatever you
want to.

++++ Wow - you could purchase property along the coast for a buck an
acre after mother nature did those tricks. Just as long a nobody was
injured.
Looks like I should sell my place now while the selling is profitable.

Good show Allen, I boarded our place up 24 hrs after the warnings were
posted and moved back to our home in the north.
