DIR-12 date of appointment entered 12.05.2016 instead of 05.05.2016

Dear Sir/ Madam

I have filed DIR-12 for appointment of director, all documents and resolution has been attached for date of appointment is 05.05.216 but in form DIR-12,Date of appointment has been inadvertently entered 12.05.2016 and same has been updated on MCA site i.e 12.05.2016. Now we want to rectify it by original date of effective appointment 05.05.2016. kindly guide us how to rectify the above mentioned mistake so that date of appointment date 05.05.2016 can be shown on MCA site.

I think, by filing DIR 12 again, you can change the Date of Appointment with correct documents.

its not possible to file one more form or Correcting the form from back office ...the thing you can do is, contact ROC request him with covering letter stating FORM -DIR 12 was wrongly filed.. please delete it from the MCA data base as defective return..ROC has the power to do so..

but you need to convince ROC..

DIR-12 showing pre-scrutiny error person is already appointed as a director.

There is only one solution now, get the resign of director and appoint him again.

Board Resolution, Resignation Letter and Acknowledgement of Resignation by Board, Form DIR 12 and DIR 11 shall be Filed.

1ST RESIGN HIM WITH ATTACHMENT EXPLAINING THE REASON THEN REAPPOINT HIM.

re-file form DIR-12 with correct details alongwith a letter addressing to Concerned ROC for consider the date of appointment as 05.05.2016 in place of 12.05.2016 as mentioned in earlier form. 


In my view as attachments are correct their is no issue.
