Strike Off of a Producer Company

Dear Professional Colleagues,

I seek your guidance on the strike off of a Producer Company under the Companies Act, 2013.

Is the strike off procedure for a Producer Company the same as that applicable to a Private Limited Company under Section 248 and Form STK-2, or are there any specific provisions, additional compliances, approvals, or precautions applicable exclusively to Producer Companies?

In particular, I would appreciate guidance on:

• Whether there are any restrictions on the eligibility of a Producer Company for strike off.
• Whether any special resolutions, member approvals, or other procedural requirements differ from those applicable to a Private Limited Company.
• Whether any additional documents or declarations are required.
