Dear Friends

i have a query on fdi in Regd Partnership Firms in India

A dubai based foreign company owned by two Indians is planning to invest in regd partnership firm

As per fdi regulations only NRIs and PIOs are allowed to invest in partnership firms but indian indirect invst can it be considered permissible for the purpose of fdi

I solicit your views on the same please

FDI in LLPs is permitted, subject to the following conditions : FDI is permitted under the automatic route in LLPs operating in sectors/activities where 100% FDI is allowed through the automatic route and there are no FDI-linked performance conditions.29-Nov-2022
