Date of transfer

Members of public limited company transferred shares among themselves on 23.03.2015. They paid stamp duty online through grass on 23.03.2015. But they forgot to affix special adhesive stamps on share transfer form . Can they produce the same before stamping authority in fresh date? Is der any limitation period in tis regard?

is the share transfer form signed?

they can always buy the adhesive stamps and affix it on the share transfer form since these adhesive stamps do not bear any dates

hi

once you pay the stamp duty online you will receive a proof of payment of stamp duty. that you need to affix to the sh4.

and you need to submit the said sh4 within 60 days of execution to the company with original share certificate and self attested pan copy of transferee (in case of listed company). section 56.

can you pls explain what do you meant by special adhesive stamps

u should ask for this to stamp officer because there is no specific date is given on that stamp. may be they can consider your matter for affix stamp.
