Appointment of Foreign National as Director

Dear All,

A Public company (unlisted) intends to appoint a foreign national on its Board.

The procedure is to Hold BM, make an application for DIN of the foreign national,  and then File DIR 12.

Can someone pls help me regarding the documents and procedure required for the application of DIN of the Foreign Individual !!

Whether any prior approval from MCA be also required or not in such a case..!! 

and also if the DSC (Class 3) of the foreign individual will be prepared in the same way as we prepare DSC of Class 2..!!

All his documents needs to be Notarized and Apostillized as per his country of residence for DIN

DSC would be of the same class as any other Indian director 

Prior approval of MHA would be required if he is resident of a country sharing land border with India

Pls also explain if any witness (foreign national) is also required to certify the details of Foreign Individual (proposed Director) regarding the documents he's providing. 

And also, if any post appointment compliance (other than DIR 12) with ROC is also to be undertaken.
